A cross sectional study was done to determine the relationship of body mass index to the prevalence of anemia among mothers  with children 0-24 months old of Zone6, Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Binan Laguna. Data collected through house to house visit in Zone 6, Barangay Santo Domingo provided data regardin the body mass index and prevalence of anemia. Data were computed using frequency table and Chi square test. Among the 27 mothers that participated in the study, 16 mothers had abnormal BMI and 4 had anemia, 4 mothers were overweight and none had anemia, 4 were obese and  1 had anemia, and 3 were overweight and 1 had anemia. The results showed that there was no significant association between body mass index and the prevalence of anemia among mothers with children aged 0-24 months in Zone 6, Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Binan Laguna. It is recommended that further studies that would consider the manner of delivery, parity, and sociodemographic profile of mothers of Brgy. Sto Domingo, Binan, Laguna and studies that focusing on other vulnerable age groups be done.
