Neoplastic disorders are rare in newborns and infants up to three months of age due to immaturity of tissues and organs. An unusual case of a 3 month- old female with misleading clinical presentation of intrathoracic neuroblastoma
is presented. The patient was initially evaluated with a plain film chest radiograph, computed tomography scan,
together with other diagnostic tests. Surgical treatment was instituted and the tumor was confirmed with histologic
examination. The natural history, biologic and histological features, and the presenting symptoms of intrathoracic
neuroblastoma are reviewed. The radiological findings of this neurogenic pediatric tumor are discussed.
